An eating disorder is a term used to describe health and psychological disorders characterized by a disturbance in one’s attitude and behaviors relating to eating, body weight, body image and thoughts about one’s self. There are many different types of eating disorders encountered within the dental field. This course will survey some of the more common disorders encountered in dentistry today.
