Letter From Leadership

August 2022 ADAA Update

Sue Circle

Dear ADAA members,

I hope you are enjoying your summer. Can you believe in just a few days fall will finally be upon us which marks the transition from summer to winter? Change is inevitable but with it comes growth and new opportunity. Last week, ADAA notified members of a few exciting changes taking place within the association.

The association management company that manages ADAA, SEVEN12 Management, was recently acquired by Kellen. Kellen is one of the largest association management companies worldwide with 55 years of association and professional societies knowledge and experience including many health care disciplines.

We are very fortunate to retain some of the same talented individuals from the SEVEN12 team. Over the past year, they have guided, led, and strengthen the association—making it the vibrant and engaged community we are today. We are also looking forward to the new leadership and expanded resources Kellen will bring to the table. Such opportunities include the onboarding of Sheila O’Neal as ADAA’s new Executive Director. With more than 20 years of health care association management experience, Sheila offers a forward-thinking mindset that will help us prepare for a strong and stable future. The ADAA staff will continue to remain involved for a seamless transition. ADAA’s fee structure, terms and conditions, and existing partnership arrangements will remain the same.

On behalf of the Officers, Board of Directors, and membership, I welcome Sheila and Kellen. I’m sure I can speak for us all and say that we are looking forward to learning, growing, and prospering together.

You can learn more about Kellen here: https://www.kellencompany.com/.

If you have any questions or concerns you are always welcome to email me at scamizzi@adaausa.org.

Sincerely,

Sue Camizzi, CDA, BSDH, MSE
ADAA President
