As my term as ADAA President comes to a close on October 18, I want to express my deepest gratitude for the opportunity to serve you, our members, over the past year. It has been an honor to lead ADAA, a truly remarkable organization. The advancements we’ve achieved would not have been possible without the dedication and talent of our board members, council members, management staff, and the many members who stepped up when asked and placed their trust in our shared future.
The development of a solid strategic plan this year has set us up for continued success. It was a monumental undertaking and something we can all be proud of achieving. Improvements are sometimes difficult to see at first, but through diligence and hard work, we will continue striving to build a stronger organization that is easier to join for both students and professionals, financially secure, and engaging for members through top-notch education, advocacy, and greater recognition of the vital role dental assistants play.
I am excited to announce that I will be continuing my involvement with ADAA by stepping into the role of Immediate Past President. In this capacity, I look forward to supporting our new President, Erin Hendricks, and the Board of Directors as she leads us to new heights. I am confident that, with Ms. Hendricks’ vision and leadership, the organization will continue to thrive and accomplish great things.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your trust and support. I sincerely look forward to working with all of you in this new chapter as we continue elevating the profession of dental assisting.
Affectionately connected,
Ronda Lane
