Announcement: ADAA Call for Board Nominations!

The Nominating Committee is now accepting nominations for the following positions on the Board of Directors:

  • President-Elect
  • First Vice President
  • Second Vice President
  • Director-at-Large (2 positions)

Officer eligibility requirements:

  • Must be a Professional, Life, or Federal Services member of ADAA.
  • President-Elect nominees must have served a full term in a leadership capacity on the ADAA Board of Directors, either as a director or officer.
  • First and Second Vice Presidents must have held a leadership position within ADAA, which could include service on the board, council, committees, or at the state association or local affiliate level.

Term Details:

  • First and Second Vice Presidents serve a one-year term.
  • The President-Elect will immediately succeed to the President position and then to Immediate Past President, serving one year in each role, for a full cycle of three years.
  • Directors-at-Large serve a three-year term.

Timeline:

  • September 10-30: Call for Nominations Open
  • September 10-30: Nominating Committee Reviews Nominations and Confirms Eligibility
  • October 1 or 3: Town Hall with Candidates
  • October 5-12: Election Open for Voting
  • October 12-18: Election Results Communicated to All Nominees
  • November 9: Annual Session – Election Results Announced
