ADAA November President’s Letter

Dear ADAA Members,

Wow! We just celebrated our first in-person meeting in 10 years, and what an incredible time it was! It was a joy to reconnect face-to-face, enjoy outstanding educational sessions, and have some fun with each other at the photo booth. I am deeply honored to begin my term as ADAA President, and I want to express my heartfelt thanks to Lisa Hernandez, IPP, the Kellen management team, and PDS for making this gathering possible.

As we move forward, one of my top priorities for this year is enhancing communication. Building strong relationships with our members, schools, organizations, and supporters begins with effective and regular communication. I encourage all of us to stay engaged and push the boundaries of what we can accomplish together. Whether it’s volunteering, participating in our educational programs, spreading awareness, advocating for dental assistants, or implementing meaningful changes within ADAA, we have the collective strength to shape the future of our profession. Your energy, passion, and expertise are invaluable, and together, we are unstoppable.

ADAA is on the move, with exciting recent activities like ADAA Career Week and our ADAA Connection Zone Discussion Forum, which offered members the chance to share experiences, learn, and grow together. We are proud of the initiatives we’re creating to support and uplift our members.

In the spirit of the season, I’d like to wish everyone in our dental assisting community a warm and happy Thanksgiving. I hope you enjoy this time of gratitude and celebration with family and friends.

I invite you to reach out to anyone on our Board to share your successes or to work together to find solutions. You can find our leadership team here: ADAA Leadership.

Wishing you a wonderful Thanksgiving and a joyful holiday season ahead!

Warm regards,

Ronda Lane, BS, CDA, RDA, FADAA
