I hope this message finds you well and that you are enjoying the summer, perhaps taking some well-deserved vacation time with family and friends. I am excited to share some important updates and upcoming events with you.
The deadline for the ADAA Member Awards is approaching on June 30. This is your chance to recognize the outstanding contributions of your peers, so please submit your nominations. The award categories include the ADAA President’s Award of Excellence, ADAA Pride Awards, Loyal Assistant Award, and New Member Involvement Award. Let’s celebrate the exceptional dedication and achievements within our community.
In the past months, we had the pleasure of experiencing the Annual Session of the North Carolina Dental Society and the Texas Dental Assistants Association along with many national dental organizational meetings. These gatherings provided invaluable opportunities for members to share knowledge, learn from each other, and strengthen connections. We encourage other chapters to organize similar activities, fostering a sense of community and continuous learning.
As we approach a significant milestone – the 100th anniversary of the ADAA – I am filled with pride and anticipation. This remarkable achievement reflects a century of commitment to excellence and professional growth in dental assisting. The Board is actively planning a special celebration to mark this occasion, and we will be announcing the details soon. Stay tuned for exciting updates!
